Dadi visits!

Navee was supposed to be due yesterday!  Grandma / Dadi has come into town and has been helping us take care of baby, as well as making us food. We're set on meals for the next two months!

Navee has taken a real liking to her Dadi and likes to spend her afternoons with her napping and smiling.

The baby has a big weekend ahead of her as she will meet her Grandpa/Dada and her Anant Kaka :) More pics to come!

Navee hit another milestone today, her stump fell off, and she was able to have her first bath at home. Much to our surprise, she didn't dislike it at all!  Post-bath, she was content and snuggly.  Overall, a successful day!

One week!

Navee hit her first week on Tuesday, and so far, everything is going well!  She refuses a routine, and loves waking up late at night and staying awake, not eating or crying - just being awake.  She spends most of the day sleeping - and really only has problems when she gets cold, during diaper changes.  Navee's appetite is growing, and at this rate, she'll be 10 pounds in no time!

Baby had us at home, so we were able to bond for quite a bit of time; and obviously take more pictures.  We're slowly getting the hang of things, but definitely have a new respect our parents and parents everywhere.

The hospital has professional pictures taken of your baby on day two of her life.  Navee was a good baby, and did not even cry as she was posed and moved about for her very first photo shoot.

Hello, this is our way of sharing Navee's growth and adventures in life.  Navee was born 2/11/2014 at 2:00PM, weighed in at 6 lbs 6oz, and was 19 inches tall.

Her likes include being warm, feeding, and swinging her carseat.  Her dislikes are diaper-changes, being cold, and the dark.
